An Open Letter from RGU’s CEO

Dear Valued Customer,

The RGU Group is turning 33 in 2025! We thank you for your continued support and want you to know how much we appreciate you. Over the past year, we’ve made a dedicated effort to communicate more effectively, and we’ll continue to ramp up our messaging even further in the new year. We’ll keep you current on what we’re up to and how we’re reconciling the issues that are of great importance to you as our customer.

A major focus as we move forward is to amplify “Plushology® by RGU”, which is our consumer-facing plush toy brand. As such, you’re going to hear a lot more about Plushology® via emails, print ads, trade shows, social media initiatives and the like as we gradually pull back on “The RGU Group” brand.

We’re committed to making our plushies more eco-friendly and we kicked that off with the introduction of our 100% recycled Graffiti Teddies. Since March 2024, we’ve kept 23 tons of plastic waste (that’s over 2 million half-liter bottles!) out of the landfill with that product line and we’re just getting started! We’ve even reinvigorated our Totally United™ concept into an ombré-colored line of 100% recycled plushies and will be rolling those out in the coming months.

What else is new? How about a fun line of keychains/bag charms coming soon! Ever the productive bunch, we’re also working on some display options that we hope to begin offering early this year.

Look for us at two new (to us) trade shows this year, Toy Fair in March and ASTRA in June. To highlight our participation in this arena, we created a super cute animated short starring our Graffiti Teddies—check it out below!
